Our Mission

RAT Foundation (Robotics, Automation & Technology for Education Foundation) is dedicated to empowering students with hands-on education in robotics, automation, and technology. Our mission is to inspire innovation, bridge the gap between education and industry, and prepare the next generation for the future workforce. Through competitions, challenges, and collaborative learning, we aim to make STEM education accessible to all, starting in Thailand and later expanding across Asia.

VEX Competition

Our Events

Open-platform robotics competition designed to push the boundaries of creativity, engineering, and problem-solving.
Learners receive the challenge weeks in advance and can build a robot from anything they like (including standard platforms)
Sample materials are sent out to schools when they register

Solve real-world problems using a mix of coding, construction and automation.
The challenge is presented on the day and nothing is prebuilt
Learners use hand tools, 3D printers and laser cutters to solve the challenge.

Compete in our non-REC VEX Robotics competitions for both IQ and V5
No places awarded for VEX Worlds
A place for teams to compete with other student centred teams - we take fairness seriously and do not allow adult built robots to compete at out events.
