Empowering the next generation through robotics.
We organize hands-on competitions, hackathons, and STEM events that connect students with industry and prepare them for the future workforce.
Our mission
RAT Foundation stands for Robotics, Automation & Technology for Education — a non-profit dedicated to empowering students with hands-on education in robotics, automation, and technology. Our mission is to inspire innovation, bridge the gap between education and industry, and prepare the next generation for the future workforce.
The “RAT Race” began as an annual robotics competition founded by Rob Parker at Charter International School in Bangkok in 2015. Today, through competitions, challenges, and collaborative learning, we make STEM education accessible to all — starting in Thailand and expanding across Asia.
Compete
Sanctioned VEX qualifiers, Thailand Cup events, and platform-agnostic robotics tournaments.
Hack
RAT Hack invites students to build for real-world problems — sustainability, healthcare, accessibility.
Connect
We bring together teachers, mentors, and industry sponsors to grow the regional STEM community.
Meet our team
Our people are what make us unique. While we come from different backgrounds, we're all passionate about education and making a change for the future.
Get involved
Whether you're a school looking to register teams, a sponsor who wants to support youth STEM, or a volunteer judge — we'd love to hear from you.
