Brand new open platform robotics competition

St Andrews International School Bangkok is proud to host a series of exciting robotics events this year, including a brand-new open-platform robotics competition launched under the newly established Robotics Automation & Technology for Education Foundation (Robotics, Automation, and Technology for Education Foundation).

The first of these events will feature 30 teams in a 100% autonomous robotics challenge—marking the debut of this innovative, open-platform competition. Key dates for this season include:

22 November 2025 | Qualification event for the VEX IQ VIQRC Mix and Match Thailand Nationals

7 December 2025 | Qualification event for the VEX V5RC Push Back Thailand Nationals

St Andrews Bangkok also proudly hosts an annual charity robotics event in partnership with the RAT Foundation, bringing together student-centred teams from across Asia. The most recent edition in February 2025, originally designed as a friendly tournament, saw teams fiercely competing for awards in both VEX IQ and VEX V5 categories.
